Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Play Smart (“the app”, package com.mrutunjaystudio.playsmart), operated by Mrutunjay Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses and protects your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or any payment information. The app currently contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and profile.
To save your scores and display global and per-game leaderboards.
To calculate levels, tiers and achievements.
To send optional push notifications (reminders and updates). You can turn these off in your device settings.

3. Services we use

We use Google Firebase to run the app: Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in), Realtime Database (scores, leaderboards, profile), Cloud Messaging (notifications) and Hosting (this page). Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

We also use Google Play Games Services for sign-in, leaderboards and achievements. When you use it, Google shares your Play Games player ID and public gamer profile with the app, and your total score is submitted to the Play Games leaderboard. This is handled by Google under the privacy policy linked above.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your nickname, avatar and score are visible to other players on the in-app leaderboard, and your total score and gamer name appear on the Google Play Games leaderboard. Nothing else is shared publicly. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account inside the app, or by emailing us at welldayreview@gmail.com. Deletion removes your profile, scores and leaderboard/ranking entries.

6. Children

Play Smart is a general-audience brain-games app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what is described above. If you believe a child has provided data without consent, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security

We rely on Google Firebase’s infrastructure and security rules to protect your data. All network traffic is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
